Autistic founder launches AutiPocket to support neurodivergent professionals at work

A Dorset-based founder is preparing to launch a new digital platform designed to support neurodivergent adults navigating the realities of modern work.

Rosie Weldon, an autistic speaker, entrepreneur and workplace advocate, will launch AutiPocket on 1 April to coincide with Autism Acceptance Month.

The platform has been developed in response to what Weldon describes as a clear and persistent gap between diagnosis and meaningful day-to-day support for neurodivergent individuals.

After graduating with near-perfect academic results, Weldon began her career in banking before being diagnosed as autistic at 25. While outwardly successful, she has spoken openly about the reality behind that experience, including sustained masking, sensory overload and eventual burnout.

In 2018, she was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, a condition linked to prolonged stress, after losing the ability to walk. Since then, Weldon has built a significant online following, sharing insight into autistic adulthood and workplace challenges.

Her content now reaches a global audience of millions, with more than four million engagements in a single month, as professionals increasingly recognise their own experiences in her story. AutiPocket has been designed to provide practical, in-the-moment support for neurodivergent individuals navigating both work and everyday life. Rather than focusing on policy or awareness, the platform offers accessible tools that can be used in real time — supporting users through challenges such as overwhelm, communication, focus and workplace dynamics.

Weldon said: “There’s a huge amount of conversation around awareness, but far less around what actually helps in the moment when work becomes overwhelming. AutiPocket is about putting practical support in people’s hands, exactly when they need it.” The platform also has potential implications for employers, particularly as businesses look to improve retention, productivity and employee wellbeing in a more meaningful way. Weldon added: “So many people are quietly struggling while appearing to perform well. If we want to build workplaces that truly work, we need to move beyond surface-level support and start thinking about how people actually experience their day-to-day.”

AutiPocket will be available from 1 April, with early interest already building ahead of launch.
